Twitter on Tuesday linked to LinkedIn, letting people share updates and tweets between the hot microblogging service and the career-oriented online social networking website.
“When you set your status on LinkedIn you can now tweet it as well, amplifying it to your followers and real-time search services like Twitter Search and Bing,” Blue said in a blog post. (source : MSN)
“And when you tweet, you can send that message to your LinkedIn connections as well, from any Twitter service or tool.”

The move also represents Twitter’s possible aspirations to build on the current trend of the site being used as a real-time news source by several companies and even governmental offices. This can save you time because if you are already on Twitter, you don’t have to go to LinkedIn to post a message. This makes it easier to cross post your status thus making it more likely your LinkedIn profile is up-to-date and more dynamic.
